San Patrignano, Italy. Physical exercise in the late afternoon. At San Patrignano, we work 8 hours a day. We start in the morning from 8.00 to 12.00 and in the afternoon from 14.00 to 18.00. Many of the boys have never lived in a family environment: they have only experienced loneliness, juvenile detention, and abandonment. All of them have gone through experiences of marginalization, violence, and drug addiction without a lifeboat to hold onto. Today, they try to make up for lost time by studying, doing sports, and learning the first rudiments of a profession.
