Since 2010, the continuous increase of International fishing boats along Senegalese coasts, has made fish living nearby the shores scarce and – as a matter of fact – an increasing number of fishermen got forced to catch in freediving, thus replacing the traditional fishing with nets, that’s become ineffective.
